How to take the pressure off ourselves and our students this holiday break.

Leave it to Harvard, one of the world’s most selective institutions, to help me decide if I’m pressuring my high schooler too much.  (Uh, maybe, since I teased her about the Spanish grade that dropped from 113 to 106 and she burst into tears…yikes!)

If you’ve ever wondered about your own tiger mom-like qualities, Harvard’s got your back.

It’s worth taking some time to reflect during this holiday break about the pressure we’re all feeling about the college process. Take a look at this quiz–Harvard suggests that if you answered “yes” to any of these questions, it may be time to re-evaluate your approach to your child’s education and talk with those you respect and trust about how you might reduce college admission pressure.

Here at IN–The College Planning Experts, we love to help take the pressure off the process. From career development, to a targeted school list, to a timeline that works, to support throughout the entire journey, IN can help your family de-stress.

As both a college planning professional and mom of a teen, Paige has the inside scoop. Always.
